Ian:
Clawing ourselves out of bed after the first good night sleep in a while
to head for the bus station was not a treat. But the bus got going
fairly promptly – until he turned around and drove back through town
trawling for passengers. Then he reached the other end of town and half
the passengers he had collected go off, dissatisfied that he was not
going to get going fast enough and preferring to find other transport.
Perhaps we should have followed their example! After boarding the bus at
5:45 am, we only left Kabale at 8:00 am. Well, just one more "African
reality" experience.
