Maps: Korea T'amhomhada Tongjjokui Program
Most of these are pretty LARGE graphic files. When you click on the
map sheet the picture opens in a new browser window. At least on my
computer, the best procedure to print the map is:
- Right click on the image and save the picture to your hard drive
- Open the picture in with a photo editor
- Adjust the size of the picture so they fit the paper you are using.
Currently all of the image (except the last two) are set at 300 dpi and are less than 6" x 8".
If you set the file size to stay the same and modify the dpi to 200, the
biggest images will fill an 8 1/2" x 11". To reduce the size of the
files most of the maps have been crop to show just the section of the
sheet with route information, so the image may not fill both dimensions at
200 dpi.
- The images are in color and the maps are much more readable when
printed on a color printer!
- The map are in Hangul (Korean), so you have some motivation to learn a
little Hangul.
- Once the maps are printed, it is helpful to number and label them.
