A good starting point is
www.Kayak.com. This is a
great website to get an overview of your flight options and the
price implication. The web address
defaults to "Hotels" so you will have to click on the "Flight" tab.
On the flight information page fill-in your origin and destination.
To get the broadest fare information pick a departure
date that is three days early than the last day you can arrive and a return date that is three day later
than the earliest you can leave.
Then click on "show flexible dates" and click
on "+/- 3 days". This produces a matrix that shows how
ticket prices vary over a week.
Now click on "Search."
When you get these result you can filter for number of stops,
specific airlines, specific dates and other things. If you click on
a fare (date combination) the output will filter for that date. Lots
of flights are usually listed and details show the source of the
fare. In the end, if it is possible to get the fare directly from an airline,
that is our preference.
