Sierra Leone: People-to-People |
||
Small
group, self-contained bicycle tour, exploring the diversity of Sierra
Leone.
Of Sierra Leone's more than 400 years of contact with Europeans, it was in the headlines for about ten of those years. Yet, the other 390-plus years of general peace and harmony are much more representative of its character. Sierra Leone landscape is graced with rainforest, grasslands, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, coastline and other natural beauty. This is dotted with hamlet, villages, towns, and a couple of cities. While this is all beautiful enough and interesting, the indelible memory is its people; overwhelmingly friendly, engaging, good natured, and entrepreneurial. The population speaks over 20 languages. By its vary nature, a bicycle tours is a great way to experience all of this. Please come along with us. |
