Unique Programs To Special Places For Memories Of A Lifetime!
"Senegal People-to-People" is a fascinating and engaging mélange of modern and traditional. The cities are modern and active – with easy and inexpensive Internet access – while the villages are serene, and reflect traditional values and lifestyle, including wonderful hospitality. Senegalese villages can be astounding -- don’t be surprised when a young women emerges from a traditional house or walks by brilliantly and elegantly dressed and coifed to the nines, as if she just walk out of the pages of a fashion magazine. Equally world class is the cuisine. Dishes like Mafe, Yassa and Thiebou dieun (fish, vegetables and flavored rice) are satisfying palettes in Senegalese restaurants around the world, and we will feast on these as normal fare on a daily basis. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it.) With Senegal’s modern elements, paved roads and flat topography, Senegal is an excellent starting point for those who want an escape from Western culture on a moderate adventure. Our contact with the Senegalese makes this an even more heartwarming and special experience.
