Bicycles are a major means of transport in Malawi, especially 

in rural area.  Bike repair shop often consist of a nice shade 

tree, a set of tools, a few spare and a lot of resourcefulness.  

Tertiary clay rural roads see a lot of  feet and bike tires, but 

rarely a motor vehicle, are often smooth and excellent cycle -- 

both functionally, vitually and for fellowship.
